Rt Hon James B Bolger, ONZ, Chair
Jim has had a distinguished career in politics. He was Prime Minister of New Zealand from October 1990 to December 1997, held ministerial positions for 16 years and led the National Party for 12 years. He was New Zealand's Ambassador to the United States of America from 1998 to 2002.
Jim is Chair of several organisations including New Zealand Post and its subsidiary Kiwibank, Express Couriers Limited, the Advisory Board of the World Agricultural Forum and the Ian Axford Fellowships in Public Policy. He is also a Trustee of the Rutherford Trust, President of the NZ/US Council and a Patron of the Institute of Rural Health.

Robin G Hill, Deputy Chair and Independent Director
Robin has an extensive background in financial and business management. He was Chair and Chief Executive of PricewaterhouseCoopers New Zealand from 1992 to 2003. He was also a member of the firm's Global Board from 1992 to 1995 and the Executive Advisory Group from 1999 to 2000.
Robin has provided a wide range of advisory services to a number of large corporations, including several energy companies.

David Baldwin
David was appointed Chief Executive of Contact Energy in May 2006. Before joining Contact, he was based in Asia and the United States, overseeing the energy asset interests of a US-based investment fund. David has held senior roles in Asia and the US with MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company, a US-based global energy company, and Shell in New Zealand and The Netherlands.

Albert Brantley
Albert is the Chief Executive of Genesis Energy Limited. He is also the Chair of the Genesis Oncology Trust as well as Chair of Energy Online.
His background has largely been in heavy industry, including oil and gas infrastructure development as well as the mining and power sectors. He has had more than 35 years’ experience both in New Zealand and internationally in technical, operational and senior management positions, concentrated particularly in the power industry over the past decade. He has had considerable experience leading businesses requiring political, regulatory and environmental management, both in New Zealand and overseas.

Andrew Brown, Independent Director
Andrew is recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading corporate lawyers. He has particular expertise and experience in advising energy sector companies.
He worked at Bell Gully since graduating in 1985 —- in both its Auckland and Wellington Offices. In 1987 and 1988 Andrew worked in Canada with Toronto law firm, Goodman Phillips & Vineburg. He became a senior Corporate/Commercial Partner of Bell Gully in 1992. He retired from the partnership in December 2009. He is currently undertaking a year of study for a MCA (thesis on SOEs) at Victoria University. Andrew continues as a consultant at Bell Gully.

Keith Davis, Independent Director
Keith has extensive experience in the information technology, telecommunications and venture funding industries, including 12 years as Chief Executive/Managing Director of large corporations.
Keith is a Director of EFTWIRE Limited and Vogue Planet Limited. He was also previously Chair of the Electricity Industry Retailers Forum and a Director of Prime Television Limited.

Simon Mackenzie
Simon is Group Chief Executive for Vector and has broad experience in the energy sector, including in strategy, regulation, network management, information technology and the energy market, as well as telecommunications. During his time at Vector, he has been heavily involved in many of the industry reforms, both at a policy and a business level. He also has experience in construction and consultancy environments in New Zealand and offshore.
Simon was previously chief operating officer with Vector which incorporated strategy, regulation, pricing and performance roles as well as responsibility for the core operating divisions of electricity, gas and a number of subsidiary companies.
