In order to guide its work on customer issues Gas Industry Co has developed a set of 18 consumer expectations which represent what consumers should reasonably expect from their participation in the gas market. These expectations are set out below.
The expectations were developed as a part of a project on consumer issues. A consumer issues paper was released for consultation in late 2008 and a report which analysed the submissions and gave a Gas Industry Co response was released in May 2009.
