Planned gas production outages
The Upstream Gas Outage Information Disclosure Code has been in effect since June 2020. Under the code producers of natural gas (and Flexgas, owner of the Ahuroa gas storage facility) disclose planned and unplanned outages via the Gas Industry Notifications page.
Separate from this Code, Gas Industry company is currently undertaking a workstream regarding information disclosure in the NZ gas industry.
This page does not reflect Gas Industry Company’s views on the appropriate level of information disclosure and does not replace, or reflect the outcomes of, the information disclosure workstream.
Gas Industry Company has created this dashboard to summarise the planned outage disclosures made by parties under the Code. Unplanned outages are not shown. Content provided in each notification is the property and responsibility of the person/organisation submitting that information. If you want any further information on any of the notifications shown, please contact the submitting organisation directly.
The top chart is a timeline of all planned outages. They are arranged by disclosing organisation, with colour representing different fields and facilities.
The bottom chart shows the disclosed estimated daily impact on the quantity of gas supply in TJ. Outages beyond six months away do not include an estimated daily quantity reduction and are not shown on the bottom chart.
