Gas Industry Co received submissions on the 27 November 2012 VTC Change Request. These can be found in the Overview section above. Having considered submissions on the change request, Gas Industry Co has prepared the following draft recommendation.
Vector Limited (Vector) proposed a change to the Vector Transmission Code (VTC) on 5 July 2012 that did not receive the 75% support from Shippers necessary for it to be adopted.
Gas Industry Co has considered submissions on the draft recommendation. None of the submissions challenged the draft recommendation's analysis or conclusions, or introduced any new material for consideration.
Having considered all relevant information, including the submissions made in respect of the draft recommendation, Gas Industry Co has prepared the following final recommendation. In accordance with section 25. 7 of the VTC, this recommendation is final and binding on all parties to the VTC.
Gas Industry Co has a role under clause 25 of the VTC considering appeals in relation to change requests. Under clause 25. 7, Gas Industry Co considers appeals and makes binding recommendations as to whether the proposed change should be made.
Following receipt of submissions on its September discussion paper on Wholesale Market Design, Gas Industry Co has issued a further discussion paper which reports on the analysis of the submissions, provides Gas Industry Co's view on the issues raised and requests further input on a specific range of matters.
