As the industry body and co-regulator, Gas Industry Co does not provide natural gas or associated services.
Our vision is to provide leadership in co-regulating the New Zealand gas industry.
A key part of that is to help ensure that consumers are informed about the use of natural gas and who they can deal with for their natural gas needs, and their interests are protected.
There have been a number of improvements to market arrangements that benefit small consumers – from information that helps consumers select the energy options that are right for them, to enhanced retail contract frameworks, consumer complaints processes and energy pricing information.
