14 December 2011 VTC Change Request Appeal
On 14 December 2011, Gas Industry Co received an appeal from Vector. The appeal relates to a change request initiated by Vector regarding amendments to various provisions in the VTC including invoicing corrections, prudential requirements, and allocation of balancing costs.
On 20 February 2009, Gas Industry Co received an appeal from Vector Gas Limited (Vector). The appeal relates to a change request initiated by Vector and notified to shippers by Vector on 21 January 2009 titled 'VTC Change Request: BPP Trustee' (the appeal).
On 12 December 2008, Gas Industry Co received an appeal from Contact Energy. The appeal relates to a change request initiated by Contact Energy forwarded to shippers by Vector on 14 November 2008 titled "Daily Metering Data" (the appeal).
Gas Industry Co invites submissions on the draft recommendation. If you wish to make a submission, please do so by 5. 00pm on 19 January 2009.
This discussion paper gives stakeholders the opportunity to review and comment on options for a wholesale gas market in New Zealand. A series of options are described at a conceptual level and evaluated according to criteria agreed between Gas Industry Co and the Wholesale Market Working Group.

The Government has published its emissions reduction plan. It includes work to develop a Gas Transition Plan to drive emission reductions from natural gas.
We have published our final guidelines to align the gas industry's processes with the Electricity Price Review's recommendations for the electricity market. Our workstream involved several rounds of consultation with industry, culminating in three recommendations proposing the introduction of new guidelines for gas industry participants.
