D+1 has operated successfully as a set of pilot arrangements since 2015. Following a series of working group meetings and industry consultations, we are now proceeding with making amendments to the Rules to incorporate D+1.

About the consultation
The Government consulted on five streams of energy policy including the Gas Transition Plan Issues Paper. We worked with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) to develop the Issues Paper which sought views on the key challenges and opportunities in the transition.
