This paper considered two issues under the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008.
In March 2015, Gas Industry Co held a workshop with retailers to present a D+1 model developed by Concept Consulting. This model uses regression analysis to allocate the previous day's gas consumption to shippers based on past consumption patterns.
At its June 2017 meeting, the Daily Allocation Working Group (DAWG) discussed possible alternatives to the status quo D+1 algorithm.
In accordance with the Gas (Processing Facilities Information Disclosure) Rules 2008, information submitted by facility owners has been published for viewing below. Changes to this information will be updated within 10 working days of additional or amended information being received by Gas Industry Co.
In August 2014, Gas Industry Co released a draft of the Gas Quality Information Protocol for stakeholder comment. The Protocol set out the principles of good industry practices:
no secrecy around gas quality incidents and exceptions that occur.

On 6 May 2015, Gas Industry Co released its Final Recommendation on the 13 April 2016 MPOC Change of Ownership Change Request (COCR). On the basis of our analysis of the COCR, our consideration of submissions, and of Gas Act and GPS objectives, the Final Recommendation supports the COCR.
On 12 August 2015 Gas Industry Co issued its Draft Recommendation (see Related Documents below), which did not support the proposed change.
Gas Industry Co issued its Draft Recommendation on the 10 October 2014 Maui Pipeline Operating Code (market-based balancing) Change Request (MBBCR) proposed by Maui Development Limited (MDL) for consultation on 25 February 2015.
Having considered submissions on the Draft Recommendation, Gas Industry Co's Final Recommendation is to support the 14 February 2014 Change Request.
