This paper invited submissions from allocation participants on the merits of replacing the initial allocation results produced by the allocation agent under the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008 (the Rules) with D+1 allocation results produced by Gas Industry Co for the duration of the D+1 trial.
The reason for doing the replacement is to permit Vector/First Gas to use the D+1 allocations to settle the Balancing and Peaking Pool (BPP) and for transmission billing, so that the same allocation results are used for those purposes as Vector/First Gas shippers have used throughout the month to manage their gas positions.
