Subsequent to the release of its initial exemptions consultation paper on 21 August 2008 ("Initial exemptions under the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008"), Gas Industry Co received additional exemption applications under the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008.

This consultation considered whether Gas Industry Co should direct the Allocation Agent to perform a special allocation pursuant to rule 51 of the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008, following a notification by the Allocation Agent that a material error occurred at 22 gas gates during August 2017.

This consultation paper invited submissions from allocation participants on the merits of directing special allocations under the Gas (Downstream Reconciliation) Rules 2008 for the consumption periods May 2012, June 2012 and July 2012.

This paper invited submissions from D+1 participants on proposed modifications to the D+1 business rules.   The reason for the proposed modifications was to improve the operation of the D+1 allocation process.   Submissions closed Friday 23 September 2016.  

The original purpose of the Daily Allocation Working Group (DAWG) was to assist with the design, implementation and refinement of the D+1 trial and pilot.

Gas Industry Co released a statement of proposal in respect of information disclosure by owners of gas processing facilities. This proposal followed on from the December 2006 recommendation to the Minister of Energy relating to protocols for access to gas processing facilities.

The Gas (Processing Facilities Information Disclosure) Rules 2008 (the 'Rules') were gazetted by the Minister of Energy on 29 May 2008.

The purpose of the Gas Governance Issues in Gas Quality: Issues Paper was to review New Zealand's arrangements for managing gas quality, identify areas for more detailed evaluation, and suggest next steps.
