In March 2010 Gas Industry Co published a Status Update providing a summary of submissions received on the change request. Gas Industry Co noted that, considering the wide scope of the change request, it may be difficult to approve the whole package unconditionally.

Having considered submissions made in respect of this change request, Gas Industry Co has prepared the following final recommendation.

On 20 June 2008 Gas Industry Co received a request from Maui Development Limited (MDL) to consider and make a recommendation in respect of proposed changes to the Maui Pipeline Operating Code (MPOC).

This paper assesses the success of the Retail Gas Contracts Oversight Scheme, suggests possible changes for consultation with industry, and outlines Gas Industry Co’s current thinking. Gas Industry Co sought submissions on the review of the Scheme, and the issues set out in the document.

Building on previous work on model contract guidelines and work done in conjunction with the Electricity Commission and the Electricity & Gas Complaints Commission, this paper presented a set of benchmark, or minimum, contract terms for governing domestic and small consumer gas supply arrangements.

In November 2014, Gas Industry Co issued a Draft Decision Paper which sought stakeholder feedback on the proposed framework for insolvent retailer arrangements.

In March 2011, Gas Industry Co issued a Statement of Proposal seeking submissions on the Gas Governance (Insolvent Retailers) Regulations 2010.
