On 5 December 2018, Gas Industry Co invited stakeholders to submit on its  preliminary assessment paper (PAP) of the 31 October 2018 GTAC.

Nine submissions were received when the consultation closed on 18 January 2019. 

The PAP finds, having regard to the objectives in s43ZN of the Gas Act and the objectives and outcomes in the current GPS, that the GTAC is materially better than the existing terms and conditions for access to, and use of gas transmission pipelines.
