Having considered submissions on the Draft Recommendation, Gas Industry Co concluded that it should support the 13 October 2011 MPOC change request. Our conclusion and the supporting rationale are set out in the Final Recommendation.
While the change request aimed at improving pipeline balancing arrangements, we accepted that further improvements to industry arrangements are necessary to fully achieve efficient balancing arrangements. We will continue to work with industry participants to achieve these improvements. We discussed this in the cover note below.
