Gas Industry Co released its final assessment of First Gas’ proposed Gas Transmission Access Code (GTAC) on 27 February 2019. The assessment is made pursuant to MPOC s22.16(b), and is one of the conditions that must be satisfied before the GTAC can take effect.
The Final Assessment Paper (FAP) concludes that the GTAC package submitted to Gas Industry Co by First Gas on 31 October 2018 is materially better than the existing terms and conditions for access to and use of gas transmission pipelines. We thank stakeholders for their submissions on the preliminary assessment paper issued in December.
